The mission of the master’s program in Cybersecurity is to provide and ensure thorough training in the field of cybersecurity, as well as to produce specialists capable of meeting professional demands in a job market characterized by high levels of dynamism and innovation.
Upon completing this master’s program, graduates will acquire skills in:
- The development and implementation of professional and/or research projects for the theoretical foundation of cybersecurity systems and services;
The development of professional solutions for the design and development of high-security systems. - Writing and maintaining the programming code presented in the instructions and technical specifications for software applications and operating systems to ensure the security of the system and data;
- Assessment of the risk level of a system from a security perspective.
- The development of original solutions aimed at securing hardware and software systems and protecting access to data;
- Conducting scientific research in the field of cybersecurity.

The content of the master’s program
The content that will be studied in the master’s program in Cybersecurity includes, among others, the following concepts and techniques:
- The specific definition of the concepts that characterize cybersecurity;
- Identification of vulnerabilities, risks, and cybersecurity threats at the organizational level;
- Managing cybersecurity events;
- Data protection using modern encryption technologies;
- Protection of information using electronic signatures and PKI infrastructures;
- Study and analysis of security protocols;
- Application of methods for securing computer networks;
- Applying methods for securing systems and applications;
- Securing databases;
- Securing multimedia systems;
- The study of the systems and protocols used in electronic payment systems.
- Information security management;
- Collection and investigation of evidence in the field of cybercrime (forensics);
- The conduct of cybersecurity exercises;
- The application of specific technologies to ensure operational continuity;
The research topics will cover areas such as operating system security, mobile device security, Internet of Things systems, distributed systems, communication protocols, software-defined networking, and virtualization solutions.
